Changing forms - an artistic journey
Each work is created in an ongoing process - between experiment, material and movement. Over the years, a unique artistic language is formed in which change becomes visible.
The language of change
Gerhard Richter's retrospective at the Fondation Louis Vuitton impressively demonstrated that artistic development allows for diversity and can integrate different techniques and forms of expression. His working method illustrates that change is a central component of artistic research. My artistic practice also evolved over many years – from early drawings and plastic works, through Pop Art, reliefs, and abstract positions, to my current large-scale wall sculptures. Each phase marked a conscious engagement with materiality, spatiality, and the relationship between surface and structure. In this sense, my earlier works also appear as organically grown steps within the same development process. Today, my textile works consolidate these experiences into a mature form. They combine precision in drawing, sculptural spatial quality, and the sensitivity of the material.
