Acoustic Art - Sculptural Resonance in Space
Conceptual work in the interplay of silence, structure, and aesthetics.
From Acoustic Function to Sculptural Form
The Work Group Acoustic Art marks an early phase of my artistic development, in which I explored the design possibilities of industrial acoustic materials. Starting from their functional purpose, relief-like compositions emerged that move between object, architecture, and spatial perception. Through precise cuts, layering, and geometric arrangements, the materials were transformed into independent sculptural structures. The works react to light, rhythm, and proportion, developing a quiet presence that makes the space experienceable not only functionally but also emotionally. Even here, questions that continue to shape my current practice are at the center: the relationship between material and form, the interplay between art and architecture, and the perception of space as a psychological and aesthetic experience.
