My work is created at the interface of art, design and architecture. Inspired by the precision and elegance of haute couture, I develop textile wall objects that fit into rooms like tailor-made unique pieces. Each work of art lends the room a distinctive atmosphere and makes the vision and identity of your clients visible.

Site-Specific Art - Presidential Suite Conrad Hotel Hamburg

For the presidential suite of the Conrad Hotel Hamburg, a site-specific textile wall sculpture by Alla Grande was commissioned. It picks up on the architectural language of the interior and artistically enhances its exclusive atmosphere. In close collaboration with Minda Dowling Hotel Art Consultants London, an artistic intervention was realized that seamlessly integrates into the spatial concept.

The composition, materiality, and surface structure of the textile relief were specially developed for this context by Alla Grande. The textile relief structure reacts sensitively to incoming light and changing perspectives. It creates a contemplative yet striking spatial presence that significantly shapes the character of the suite. The successful implementation in the high-end hospitality sector was met with great appreciation from the project partners. The room photographs shown were kindly provided by the Conrad Hotel Hamburg for the portfolio presentation.

Institutional Presence – Luxury Hotel Qatar via ARTLINK

Two sculptural works by Alla Grande were acquired for a luxury hotel in Qatar by ARTLINK London, one of the world's leading art consultants for the international hospitality industry. The selected works are from an earlier creative period of the artist and blend seamlessly into the exclusive hotel ambiance, where they emphasize the connection between fine art, architecture, and high-end interior design.

In the context of upscale hospitality, the works function as identity carriers, lending spaces a distinctive atmosphere and a sense of exclusivity. They complement the clear architectural lines of the interior while simultaneously adding emotional, tactile accents. For reasons of confidentiality, specific project details remain undisclosed. Sculptural Presence - Private Residence Kuwait

In collaboration with the renowned Milanese firm Studio MHZ Architecture & Interior Design, Alla Grande created three large-scale textile artworks for an exclusive private residence in Kuwait. The unique pieces, conceived specifically for this project, seamlessly blend contemporary textile art with sophisticated spatial architecture, lending subtle, sculptural depth to the spacious living areas.

Special thanks go to Katrin Herden for the inspiring and exemplary collaboration in the realization of this international project by Alla Grande. Dimensions in Architectural Space - KBAA Los Angeles

At the request of Kevin Barry Art Advisory (KBAA), a leading art advisory firm in Los Angeles, Alla Grande is designing two large-scale textile wall hangings for an exclusive interior design concept. The works combine materiality, complex textures, and artistic expression to make the tension between fine art and modern interior design visually tangible.

The project is in the active development phase and is being elaborated in close discourse with art consultants to ensure precise alignment with the architectural environment. For reasons of confidentiality, specific project details remain under wraps; the visualization shown serves as an exemplary staging of the artistic spatial effect.

Textile Structures in Hospitality Design - Eaton Fine Art Austin

Upon request from Eaton Fine Art, an internationally operating art consultancy firm based in Austin, custom designs by Alla Grande are being created for a hotel project in the USA. The concept includes furnishing a suite with original textile wall objects that combine materiality, texture, and artistic expression in the space.

The project is currently in the active development phase. In close consultation with art advisors, various formats and compositions are being developed to precisely align them with the architectural concept and final client feedback. The visualization shown serves as an exemplary staging of this artistic spatial design.

Art Meets Function – The Genesis of the Acoustic Art Series

In cooperation with the Acoustic Group, Alla Grande initiated a large-scale wall object series that is considered the foundation of her current material-focused works. The early works in this series combine extraordinary acoustic properties with a precisely crafted, tactilely appealing surface made of an innovative composite material.

As part of this early creative phase, the series exemplarily demonstrates how artistic form and functional room acoustics merge into a symbiotic unit. The objects not only have a visual presence in a space but also perceptibly optimize its acoustic quality – an early, groundbreaking interplay of material research, aesthetics, and architectural utility.

Geometric Resonances - An Exclusive Spatial Concept for Miami

For a spacious, detached villa in Miami, Florida, three exclusive commissions were created based on works from Alla Grande's early Acoustic Art Series. Initiated by private collectors, the works form the visual centerpiece of a modern living space where architecture, design, and art merge into a balanced overall harmony.

Crafted from the innovative composite material LANISOR, these early works uniquely combine aesthetics and function. The relief-like surface and precise geometric composition make a strong visual statement, optimize room acoustics, and engage in an exciting dialogue with the warm interior materials such as leather, wood, and natural stone. The project exemplifies Alla Grande's international collaboration with architects and discerning private clients.

Chess Kiss - The Transformation of Graphics in Textile Space

In exclusive cooperation with the leading Swedish label CarpetVista/RugVista, Alla Grande transcends the boundaries between fine art and applied design. The graphic motif „Chess Kiss“ explores the tension between rational geometry and sensual emotionality.

The internationally distributed collection transforms the classic work of art into a tactile, functional [room object]. Through the interplay of contrasts and scaled dimensions, the edition establishes itself as a sculptural statement in both private living spaces and avant-garde contract areas.

art edition Light & Shadow - When Architecture Meets Textile Art

In a groundbreaking collaboration with Teba GmbH & Co. KG, Germany's leading manufacturer of sun protection systems, the design by Alla Grande breaks art edition Light & Shadow the boundaries between functional interior design and fine art. Large-format surface curtains, in particular, evolve into temporary, artistic room divider sculptures that enter into a poetic liaison in a constant interplay with natural daylight.

The design concept uses incoming light as an active player: it transforms the graphic silhouettes into atmospheric, kinetic spatial installations and gives the interior a permanently changing, sculptural expressiveness.

This symbiosis of materials technology innovation and artistic radiance from Alla Grande also found international recognition. After its successful premiere at the Frankfurt textile fair, the edition was awarded the renowned homesolute Award (1st place in the Decoration category) excellent – an award that sustainably underpins the avant-garde design approach of this project.

Ars Mundi Contemporary – Positioning in the International Art Market

The inclusion of the two former unique sculptures in the renowned ars mundi contemporary selection represents a significant institutional recognition of Alla Grande's work. As Europe's leading art dealer, ars mundi offers a high-caliber platform that presents these works from an earlier creative phase in an exclusive, curated context.

The strategic collaboration opens dialogue with a sophisticated, global collector market. It underscores the timeless relevance of the exhibited positions in the current art scene and solidifies the international visibility of the overall work within one of Europe's most significant collection structures.

Intercultural Dialogue - Burj Al Arab, Dubai

In 2012, as part of the project Occident meets Orient Selected exclusive relief works by Alla Grande are presented in the iconic Burj Al Arab in Dubai. The exhibition initiated a concise visual discourse between the imposing, opulent architecture of the building and a Western-influenced, sculptural formal language from an earlier series by the artist.

The sculptural works entered into an immediate dialogue with the space on-site. The golden columns, mirrored surfaces, and intense colors of the interior amplified the impact of the modeled structures, while the clear forms of the art provided a calm, contemporary counterpoint to the opulent interior design. This symbiosis of color, material, and plastic form created a defining interplay between art and architecture. The project was comprehensively documented through its own catalog and an artfully curated photo series, marking an important milestone within the international project references.

Work presentation at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Dubai

During a stay at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on the Palm Jumeirah in 2022, a comprehensive presentation of earlier works by the artist Alla Grande was discovered. Several high-quality, limited, and signed editions were shown, which were originally created in 2012 as part of a previous series for an art project at the Burj Al Arab.

The presentation of the stolen works spanned a vast gallery on the top floor, lined with illuminated glass display cases on both sides. Although this exhibition took place without the artist's prior knowledge or consent, it impressively demonstrated how naturally these works fit into unexpected international contexts and shape spaces.

About half a year later, an exclusive photo exhibition by the renowned photographer Simon Procter took place in the same hotel – featuring his homage to Karl Lagerfeld – The Chanel Shows. The continued presence of the works in this house led to further international recognition of the works in the global arena.

Institutional Recognition - Transfer to the Fondation Humbert II et Marie José de Savoie, Vaduz

As an exclusive commission at the request of the President of Art Monaco, an earlier work by Alla Grande was created – a portrait of Marie-José of Savoy, the last Queen of Italy. At the international art fair in 2014, this unique piece was officially handed over to the Fondation Humbert II et Marie José de Savoie in Vaduz. The solemn handover took place directly to Princess Marie-Gabrielle of Savoy.

The work has since been presented in the historical rooms of the Foundation and is an integral part of the Fondation's renowned art collection. Its inclusion in a significant European collection underscores the timeless nature of the work and connects Alla Grande's contemporary artistic practice with the cultural heritage of a European royal house. The photographs shown were kindly provided by the Foundation for documentation.

Social Engagement and Art - Charity Project WANDERBILD

In collaboration with BosFood GmbH, star chef Eckart Witzigmann, and the Stiftung Menschen für Menschen by Karlheinz Böhm Alla portrayed top chefs from all over Europe who were involved in the "Top Chefs for Africa" project. The portraits grew into a monumental frieze that traveled from event to event as a "WANDERBILD" (traveling exhibition), generating donations for the construction of several schools in Ethiopia.

The WANDERBILD by Alla Grande, a modern frieze with portraits of everyone involved, is spectacular Work in Progress. It grows in proportion to the number of chefs involved in the project. Wherever it is presented on its journey through Europe, it attracts attention and acts as an ambassador for a far-reaching humanitarian initiative.

In 2011, the accompanying book was released WANDERBILD – Top Chefs for Africa by Alla Grande, which in Paris with the renowned Gourmand World Cookbook Award (Category: Best Charity Cookbook & Art Catalogue) was awarded. In 2015, the publication also received the exclusive honor Best of the Best.

Precision in Transport - Packaging & Worldwide Logistics

Alla Grande's wall sculptures are shipped worldwide. To ensure the highest protection for the structures while efficiently minimizing transport weight for international shipping, each piece is secured in the studio within a specially constructed lightweight protective case. This custom-made construction shields the object from impacts and is further protected against moisture by a weatherproof outer packaging.

Worldwide shipping is handled in professional cooperation with JUMINGO Cologne's logistics team. This reliable partnership ensures that all Alla Grande works arrive at their international destination in immaculate condition.
