Art in dialog with space and consciousness

Every work is an encounter - between space, material and consciousness. I am looking for a balance between form and sensation, for that moment in which perception takes on depth. I am interested in the invisible between the forms - the energy that arises when vision, material and perception resonate with each other. This results in works that not only shape spaces, but also noticeably change them.

Who I am and what moves me

As a German visual artist, designer and architect, I have been fascinated by the relationship between material, structure and space for many years. This fascination has led me step by step from architecture to fine art - to a practice in which form, movement and consciousness play a central role.

Initially, I experimented with different materials and techniques. Early plastic and sculptural works emerged from these processes. Some of these works are on display in the gallery Earlier works to see.

Over time, this developed into my current focus - working with textile materials. My textile wall objects are created from natural materials such as gauze, cotton and textile fibers, which I shape in a process-oriented and often meditative workflow. In my works I explore the relationship between texture, perception and consciousness.

The focus of my current work is on large-format textile wall objects that deal with philosophical and sustainable themes. With my unmistakable visual language - painting with textiles - I create works that are highly valued in architecture and interior design and transform rooms into a special atmosphere.
