Sculptural Textile Art

Between material, form and stillness. Precise. Reduced. Timeless.

Textile Sculpture - Material. Time. Presence.

I shape textiles not as a material, but as a space - physical, lively, present. Natural, calm tones meet bright, dynamic colors and reflect the tension between tradition and innovation. The result is textile surfaces that become spatial sculptures - borne by fragility and strength - and fill rooms with depth and presence. The textiles become silent ambassadors that remind us of the preciousness of the moment - of the fragility and at the same time of the inner strength of life.

No. 09 - White Dancing Butterflies (2025)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 100 x 80 cm

The work of art White Dancing Butterflies shows a fascinating composition of stylized, white butterflies that seem to dance with each other. PEARL BUTTERFLY

Butterfly Series
No. 18 - Pearl Butterfly (Triptych) (2024)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 120 x 60 cm each

Three individual pieces, each measuring 120 x 60 cm, together create a generous work of art measuring 120 x 180 cm (not counting the spaces in between).

The triptych Pearl Butterfly consists of three portrait-format panels, each measuring 120 x 60 cm. The work was made from finely structured cotton fabric panels, which were carefully stretched by hand and artistically modeled. The surface is painted in white and pearl-colored clay.

The composition looks like an abstract unfolding of wings. The symmetrical arrangement of the three elements creates a harmonious overall effect and its formal language is reminiscent of the stylized silhouette of a butterfly in the process of ascending.

Pearl Butterfly symbolizes transformation, hope and inner healing. In many cultures, the butterfly is a symbol of transformation - from a vulnerable cocoon to a free, floating existence.

The mother-of-pearl tones and the delicate shimmer stand for the light that comes from the depths - like pearls that grow in secret and become something beautiful through pressure.

The lines formed from fabric point to the human journey through life: tensions, changes of direction, concentration on one point - and finally letting go into a new form.

For many people, this work can be a reminder that strength also comes from vulnerability. It invites contemplation and appeals to the emotional level as well as the aesthetic sense.

APPLE TREE OF SUCCESS

Veins of nature series
No. 05 - Apple Tree of Success (2025)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 120 x 100 cm

The tree as a symbol of our path through life

Many of us have big dreams. But until these dreams bear fruit, we have to grow - work on ourselves, make decisions, make mistakes and move on.

The apple tree has always been a symbol of fertility, knowledge and the reward of hard work. Success is not an accidental product of nature, but the result of conscious, interwoven efforts and decisions.

The tree, consisting of folded and knotted cotton strands, rises up on a radiant turquoise-blue background - a color that stands for hope, clarity, inspiration and expansiveness. It is an appeal not to think small. Big dreams challenge us to grow beyond ourselves.
The fact that the entire tree is made of cotton fabric lends the work a soft, almost organic vitality. Cotton is a material that is everyday, tangible and familiar - just like the small steps we take every day on the way to our dream.

The trunk, strong and vertical, symbolizes our inner strength, our principles and values.

The interwoven branches of the tree represent the personal growth that is necessary to achieve success. Each branch stands for a characteristic: discipline, courage, perseverance, willingness to learn, empathy, vision.

The knots as apples - the fruit of our efforts.

Every knot in its weave is a sign that we are stronger, clearer and closer to our goal with every step we take.

Like real apples, these knots are visible signs of ripening. They remind us that dreams only bear fruit when they are nurtured with effort, dedication and perseverance. They stand for tests passed, doubts overcome, decisions made - everything that shapes us on our path to personal success.

Apple Tree of Success is therefore not only an aesthetic statement and a visual highlight, but also a daily source of inspiration - a call for self-realization and inner strength. A work of art that illuminates not only rooms, but also worlds of thought.

The artwork is a visual affirmation - Dream big, work on yourself, grow steadily - and you will reap the rewards.

RHAPSODY OF A SUMMER

Abstract Series
No. 10 - Rhapsody of A Summer (2024)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 100 x 100 cm

In this work, a luminous symphony of color, structure and movement unfolds. Several lengths of fabric glued together form a relief-like surface in which light and shadow, smoothness and tension meet. The vibrant reds, oranges and yellows are broken up by subtle blues and greens, creating a visual pulsation - like the shimmering heat of a summer's day.

The composition plays with overlays, transparencies and rhythmic verticals that are reminiscent of textile folds or fringes of light. The physicality of the material is combined with the painterly gesture to create a dense, multi-layered whole. Rhapsody of A Summer is a tribute to the energy and fleetingness of light, to the sensual experience of color, and at the same time a silent homage to Gerhard Richter - a gratitude to the freedom to let color speak for itself.

The work invites you to immerse yourself in an abstract summer landscape - in a space of warmth, movement and lightness, in which color itself becomes a language.

BLUE SUNSET

Abstract Series
No. 09 - Blue Sunset (2024)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 100 x 100 cm

The color spectacle of a sunset always attracts our attention. As the sun sets, the sky transforms into a vibrant interplay of light and color - a moment between clarity and dissolution.

In this work, the phenomenon of the sunset is abstracted and reduced to its emotional essence. Draped fabric structures create depth and movement, while intense layers of blue, red and violet create a luminous field of tension. The eye wanders as if in a fluid transition between day and night - between consciousness and dream.

The cool calm of the blue meets the passionate red, symbolizing the eternal interplay of distance and closeness, control and devotion. Psychologically, this reflects the ambivalence of human emotions: the need for support in the moment of letting go.

In homage to Gerhard Richter, the Blue Sunset painterly depth with an experimental surface structure. As with Richter, it is not about depicting reality, but about making the invisible visible - about the feeling that arises between the layers of paint and fabric.

The work invites you to linger in the quiet intensity of the moment - where beauty, transience and knowledge merge.

The work is a tribute to the transformation of color itself - from deep red to radiant yellow, from earthy to luminous. This transition stands for transformation, vitality and the moment of inner unfolding.

The gauze, normally delicate and transparent, here becomes a powerful material that creates movement and depth. Shaped and modeled in layers, it transforms into a lively texture reminiscent of fire, earth and sun.

9 HAPPIEST MOMENTS

Abstract Series
No. 06 - 9 Happiest Moments (Polyptych, 9 panels) (2023)
Gauze on canvas, 25 x 25 cm each

Nine textile fragments made of gauze - nine emotional states between light and memory. Each square stands for an individual moment of joy that cannot simply be repeated, but is transformed in color, structure and light. Together, the nine elements form a visual diary of emotional intensity.

The fragile fabric stands for the permeability of happiness - something you can feel but cannot hold on to. The dense surface combines transparency and depth, intuition and control, color and feeling.

The texture of the gauze, a fabric between permeability and support, becomes a psychological resonance chamber here - it embodies the fragile nature of happiness - fleeting, floating, yet tangibly anchored in inner experience.

Each square is an echo of a happy moment - a brief state of lightness, inner clarity and resonance with the world. Together they form a sensitive network of spiritual energy, a silent archive of positive emotions.

9 Happiest Moments is not a reflection of joy, but its trace - a visible sensation woven from light, memory and fabric.

EYE OF THE OCEAN

Abstract Series
No. 07 - Eye of The Ocean (2023)
Gauze on MDF board, 68 x 68 cm

The picture Eye of The Ocean is a highly symbolic work of art that poetically depicts the connection between the human eye and the ocean.

The eye itself is modeled with the help of fine gauze and traversed by a dramatic color gradient. The folds of the gauze express the feeling of liveliness and fragility and remind us of the fragility of the eyes and the vulnerability of our environment.

From the black center, the color gradient transitions into a vibrant azure blue that reflects the colors of the oceans. The blue symbolizes life and the infinity of the seas, which are crucial to our ecosystem and our planet. The colors of the ocean, from deep blue to lighter, almost turquoise hues, reflect both the beauty and vulnerability of the seas.

This eye is a message to humanity to reflect on the state of our oceans and to take action to protect them. The image speaks to the urgent need to preserve the environment and treat the oceans with more respect and responsibility.

Its structure, choice of colors and symbolism unite Eye of The Ocean both artistic aesthetics and profound ecological messages. It reminds us that the oceans are the Auge and calls on us to live in harmony with them and protect their natural resources.

What if there was no ocean?

Plant life would disappear from the surface of the planet.

„We only have one planet. Humanity must be held accountable on a large scale for the willful destruction of our common home. The protection of our future on this planet depends on the conscious evolution of our species. This is the most urgent of times and the most urgent of messages.“ Leonardo DiCaprio

RIVER OF LIFE

Abstract Series
No. 03 - River of Life (2023)
Gauze on canvas, 100 x 80 cm

This work is a meditation on change and constancy. Like a river that is constantly changing and yet remains true to its course, it reflects the dynamics of our lives - a constant becoming, passing and new beginnings.

The relief-like structure is reminiscent of currents and branches, symbols of our decisions, experiences and inner movements. The interplay of light and material creates depth and transparency - a reference to the many layers of our consciousness that overlap and interpenetrate each other.

River of Life invites contemplation: about change as a natural form of existence, about the power of drifting and yet finding direction. It reminds us that the very essence of life lies in every movement, every transition and every uncertainty.

The use of gauze lends the work a fragile, translucent quality. The material itself becomes a symbol of being - it lets light through, breathes and changes its appearance depending on the perspective. It thus refers to the psychological experience that our consciousness is never fixed, but constantly reconfigures itself - in the interplay of memory, perception and inner growth.

The work thus becomes a silent invitation to contemplate our own life stream - not as a straight path, but as a living movement that shapes us and is shaped by us at the same time.

EMOTIONS IN THE FABRIC

Fold Series
No. 11 - Emotions in The Fabric (Polyptych, 4 panels) (2023)
Gauze on canvas, 30 x 30 cm each

This polyptych of four works consists of modeled gauze on black canvas. The folded, draped and hardened textures are reminiscent of organic landscapes, as if they were frozen movements of a breathing material.

The choice of strong colors symbolizes different human emotions:

Yellow - Joy, curiosity, vital energy, but also nervousness when the rays become too intense.

Green - Hope, growth, healing, but also the fragile fear of losing stability.

Magenta - Love, passion, vulnerability, the burning fire that warms and demands at the same time.

Turquoise - Calm, clarity, connection with the inner self, but also the cool distance that is necessary to recognize oneself.

The gauze looks like interwoven nerve tracts, a metaphor for the inner world of the human being - confusing, vulnerable and at the same time full of strength. Each fold is like a thought, a memory, a silent emotion that is trapped in the fabric but still tells a story.

Each combination creates a new overall picture, just as our emotions are constantly shifting, recombining and appearing differently depending on the angle.

The modeled gauze is a snapshot of movement - like a breath caught in the fabric. It stands for the fleeting states that often go unnoticed in everyday life, but have an effect deep within us.

On a black background, the colors stand out more strongly, symbolizing the polarity of darkness and light, pain and joy, fear and courage.

The textile material stands for softness and changeability, but in its solidified form it becomes a sculpture of emotions that also reflects our ability to transform. We take shape, deform and become new versions of ourselves.

PEARL WAVE

Fold Series
No. 09 - The Pearl Wave (2025)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 80 x 100 cm

A poetic homage to the sea.

This work of art is more than just a visual experience - it is a sensual journey into the depths of our natural world and our own emotional world.

The fabric structure - in shimmering mother-of-pearl tones with delicate golden reflections - is reminiscent of the eternal interplay of light and water on the surface of the sea. The wave seems frozen in motion, captured in a moment of perfect harmony, like a breath of nature. The ray of sunlight that hits the work gives it life. Millions of golden reflections dance across the surface, as if the sea itself had put on a mysterious smile.

The contrast between the cool, calm blue of the background and the warm, shiny metallic fabric creates a deep emotional tension - a balance between calm and movement, between longing and fulfillment. The wave seems alive, almost translucent, like a veil of water through which you can glimpse the soul of the ocean.

This work is a declaration of love to the sea, which calms, inspires and warns us. The transparency and dynamism of the mother-of-pearl-colored wave speaks of the fragility of our environment, its beauty worthy of protection. But it also reminds us of the romance that the sea has always radiated - of lovers on the beach, of quiet moments in the wind, of the infinite blue that embodies hope and freedom.

In this abstract depiction, art and nature, matter and emotion merge. The Pearl Wave - is a work for dreaming, a quiet appeal for mindfulness and an ode to life that begins in the sea and lives on in us.

BLUE WAVE

Fold Series
No. 10 - Blue Wave (2025)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 80 x 100 cm

Blue Wave - A tribute to the oceans and life.

This textile artwork with its organic shape and intense coloring conveys a dynamic movement. The curved, wave-like structures symbolize the eternal movement of water, the powerful elegance of the sea that shapes and sustains our planet.

The intense blue tones, interspersed with fine, silvery shimmering silver accents, reflect the variety of colors of the ocean: from the deep, unfathomable blue of the depths to the luminous reflections of the water surface in the sunlight, which give the surface a three-dimensional effect that almost makes the textile material appear.

Blue is considered the color of calm, vastness and longing - to dive into the depths, to let yourself drift and to feel the power of the element of water.

Like the waves that reach the shore gently or with unbridled force, the work represents the rhythm of life - change, renewal and the inseparable connection between man and nature.

The Blue Wave also reminds us of the fragility of the oceans. While the textile material with its fine folds is reminiscent of the structure of water, it also reveals its fragility - a symbol of the need to protect our oceans.

The work thus represents not only the beauty and power of the sea, but also our responsibility to preserve this vital ecosystem.

With its artful texture and flowing shape, the Blue Wave a deep connection between art, nature and man - a reminder that our lives, like the waves, are part of a larger cycle.

GOLDEN WAVES II

Fold Series
No. 08 - Golden Waves 2 (2025)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 100 x 80 cm

The gauze was processed in a modeling manner so that dynamic, flowing forms are drawn across the picture surface.
The golden patination enhances the play of light and shadow and elegantly emphasizes the sculptural structures. Depending on the incidence of light, shiny or matt areas are created, which intensifies the tactile quality of the work.

This work conveys the stillness that it radiates - despite the movement in its lines. It has something grounding and meditative about it. It expresses resilience - an inner fabric that finds beauty in chaos.

At the same time, the gold radiates a kind of warmth and reconciliation - almost like a quiet consolation that everything, even the unclear, is part of a larger context.

WAVES suggests a constant flow, a return - like waves in the sea, thoughts in the mind or emotions in the heart. They are intangible, but they move and shape.

GOLDEN stands for the precious in the transient, the light in the depths, perhaps also for memory, wisdom or inner wealth.

The work thus appears like a landscape of the soul - not loud, but powerful in its stillness. The waves are not stormy, but carried, formed from experience, interwoven with life.

THE GOLDEN WAVES I

Fold Series
No. 07 - Golden Waves 1 (2025)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 100 x 80 cm

Golden Waves 1 radiates strength, sensuality and presence.
The work is reminiscent of fabrics dancing in the wind, like veils or robes of ancient goddesses - paths of life that intersect, consciously, energetically, full of their own weight, time that folds, not linearly, but in layers and loops.

The wave movement remains the unifying motif - this time, however, less playful, but more targeted and clearer. The gold now stands not only for inner riches, but also for self-assertion, dignity and maturity.

This work is like a statement - I am here. I have become. I claim space.
It is no longer just about memory and flow, but about design. The lengths of fabric take up space - they spread out, they are allowed to be visible. They are no longer random, but make a statement, stand by their form.

The texture dominates the work. The cotton fabric panels traverse the picture surface in flowing arcs, tightly laid and artfully twisted.

The play of light on the folds reinforces the three-dimensionality, giving the work an almost sculptural effect. One could see this as an emancipation of the soul - the celebration of an ego that no longer bends, but unfolds in full beauty.

RESONANCE

Fold Series
No. 14 - Resonance (2025)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 80 x 80 cm

The wall sculpture Resonance stands for the subtle connection between people, space and emotion. Folded lengths of fabric unfold a visual vibration, a vibrating web of movement, light and shadow - a symbol of vitality, creativity and inexhaustible energy.

The term Resonance refers to a central psychological and philosophical concept - art is not only viewed, but experienced and felt. Resonance creates a space of relationship in which perception, emotion and reflection vibrate.

Colors and shapes enter into dialogue, reacting to each other like inner and outer worlds in harmony. The luminous tones - from warm red and orange to contrasting blue - create a vibrant tension. The relief-like surface catches the light, allowing it to refract and reflect, making the work appear to be in constant motion.

Transformation addresses change as a continuous process that is evident in nature as well as in the human psyche.

The work shows movement and change in their purest form. The color-intensive, flowing structures are reminiscent of a process of transformation - from the old to the new, from the inside to the outside - a symbol of energy, development and the continuous dynamics of life.

RAINBOW WAVES

Fold Series
No. 13 - Rainbow Waves (Diptych) (2025)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 120 x 60 cm each

Rainbow Waves consist of modeled and painted cotton. The textile surface has been transformed into lively vertical waves through intuitive folding, tension and color application. The lengths of fabric create a rhythmic, almost vibrating movement, which is further intensified by the color gradient.

The work on the left shows a cool transition from deep blue to turquoise to a bright green. The work on the right, on the other hand, begins with warm tones - a fiery orange, flaming red and strong violet. Both panels appear like two poles of a rainbow. This juxtaposition creates tension and harmony at the same time.

The arrangement and colors are immediately reminiscent of light reflections on water - like an illuminated bridge at night.

The reflection of the colorfully illuminated building in the dark water creates an almost liquid, shimmering world of colour, which is reflected in the vertical structures of the artworks. The textile implementation looks like a stylized, abstract homage to this interplay of light, architecture and nature.

Rainbow Waves can also be understood as a symbol for the spectrum of human feelings. Each color carries its own emotional resonance - blue for calm and reflection, green for hope and growth, red for passion, orange for energy, violet for depth and spirituality. The movement of the fabrics makes these feelings appear not as rigid states, but as flowing, changing energies - just like water reflecting light.

The wave structure evokes associations of breath, heartbeat or frequency - it visualizes something that connects us all: the inner flow, the emotional ups and downs, being human.

Rainbow Waves - is a bridge between natural appearance and our inner world. The works connect the visible and the invisible at the same time - the light that is refracted in colors and the emotions that are expressed in hues.

EQUILIBRIUM

Fold Series
No. 06 - Equilibrium (2024)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 80 x 80 cm

Equilibrium - is a composition of draped lengths of fabric in bright red, warm orange, intense yellow and deep blue. The fabrics form a geometric pattern that radiates movement and calm at the same time.

The changing light creates a lively interplay of shine and shadow on the surface, constantly revealing new facets. Gentle waves in the drapery lend the work rhythm and depth - a balance between structure and emotion.

A golden accent emphasizes individual lines and makes the colors glow. Depending on the angle of view, the shimmer changes, sometimes delicately, sometimes powerfully, lending the work an almost magical vibrancy.

The artwork refers to the human quest for balance - the point at which opposites come into harmony. It is a reminder that true harmony does not come from standing still, but from the conscious interplay of movement and stillness.

Thus embodies Equilibrium the balance between energy and stillness, opulence and restraint - a pulsating interplay of color, form and light.

RAINBOW RAIN

Fold Series
No. 12 - Rainbow Rain (2024)
Gauze on canvas, 60 x 120 cm

The work of art Rainbow Rain is an impressive example of modern abstract art that immediately catches the eye with its unique technique and color composition.

The picture was made from gauze - a light, permeable fabric that was laid in fine vertical folds here. This structure creates a three-dimensional surface on which the color appears alive. The folds of fabric create additional depth and dynamism, reflecting and absorbing the light in different ways.

The surface was painted with acrylic paint - applied in vertical lines reminiscent of falling rain. The paint application appears almost sculptural and has a tactile texture, as can be seen in the close-up image. Some of the drops of paint are raised on the fabric, which gives the work an additional tactile quality.

The color palette ranges from bright yellow and orange to red and magenta to deep violet and blue. These colors appear as if refracted by light - similar to a rainbow reflected in raindrops. The gradients are flowing and at the same time rich in contrast, creating a rhythmic, almost musical impression.

The vertical alignment of the color strokes reinforces the association with rain. At the same time, the regular structure of the gauze folds creates a meditative, almost hypnotic effect. The work appears lively, but also calming - like a quiet rain in the light of a sunset.

The combination of textile structure, color application and intensive coloring makes Rainbow Rain into a visual experience.

BLUE EQUILIBRIUM

Fold Series
No. 05 - Blue Equilibrium (2024)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 80 x 80 cm

This work reveals a quiet but powerful energy. Vertical lines run through the surface like solidified waves, carrying movement and calm at the same time. The blue rises from the depths of the luminous red - cool, clear, almost meditative. Their transition creates a moment of balance - equilibrium.

While the red stands for inner glow, vitality and emotion, the blue symbolizes consciousness, clarity and expansiveness. The work is a dialog between these two poles - between the burning of life and the longing for stillness.

The draped fabric lends the surface an organic liveliness. Light refracts in the folds, shadows change perception with every movement of the viewer. This creates an optical and emotional depth that goes beyond the purely visual.

From a psychological point of view, BLUE EQUILIBRIUM embodies the state of inner balance - the moment when opposites are no longer in conflict but support each other. The work invites us to feel the tension between passion and peace, intensity and clarity - and to recognize the harmony in change.

A contemporary work that radiates both calm and strength through its simple form and emotional resonance.

RED EQUILIBRIUM

Fold Series
No. 04 - Red Equilibrium (2024)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 80 x 80 cm

This work of art unfolds as a dynamic interplay of color, structure and energy. Vertical lines run through the surface like rhythmic breaths - they appear simultaneously controlled and free, tense and flowing. An intense interplay between black and red creates a field of tension between depth and glow.

The black draws the gaze inwards, into a meditative silence. It symbolizes the unconscious, the hidden - the side of the human being that eludes control. Red bursts out of this darkness - bright, vital, emotional. It stands for movement, vitality and transformation. A balance is created between these two poles - the Equilibrium - the center of the composition and at the same time the center of our inner balance.

The surface appears almost three-dimensional. The draping of the fabric gives the work an organic structure reminiscent of flowing energy. Light and shadow move across the folds, changing the expression with every viewing angle. The result is a multi-sensory experience - a moment in which matter, movement and emotion become one.

From a psychological point of view Red Equilibrium the inner state between control and passion, reason and instinct. It invites you to find peace in the tension between opposites - in that moment when everything is in balance, even if it remains in motion.

A contemporary work that fascinates with its powerful colors, sensual depth and subtle complexity.

CHECKMATE

Fold Series
No. 02 - The Checkmate (2024)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 80 x 80 cm

The draped fabric forms the heart of the work. The folding creates subtle movements and tensions - similar to the lines and decisions that shape our lives. Each fold tells of an inner process - of control and letting go, of planning and intuition. The fabric thus becomes a symbol of human consciousness - multi-layered, sensitive, always in motion.

The chessboard pattern refers to the game of life. Like chess, it is about choosing the next step carefully. Every decision takes us further, but it also carries the risk of failure. Checkmate here does not stand for an end, but for a turning point - for the moment in which insight arises.

From a psychological perspective, the work shows the eternal dialog between opposites: Light and shadow, reason and emotion, security and risk. The black and white symbolizes this duality that shapes and drives us.

With Checkmate a field of tension is created between structure and emotion, strategy and chance - an invitation to understand life as a game of decisions, experiences and inner growth.

HOPE

Fold Series
No. 01 - Hope (2024)
Cotton fabric on canvas, 100 x 80 cm

I created this artwork shortly before the sudden death of our son with the hope that he would manage to live on.

The abstract artwork consists of strips of fabric using a folding technique. The color palette consists of black, beige and a green stripe, which together create a deeply symbolic image of hope.

The color black stands for the challenges and dark times that people go through. It symbolizes the uncertainties or fears that often have to be overcome in order to find hope.

The more neutral color light beige serves as a kind of background that represents calm and stability. It symbolizes the ground on which hope can grow.

Green is often associated with hope, renewal and life. The green stripe in the picture represents the central spark of hope that penetrates the darkness.

The artwork as a whole tells a story of hope that can blossom even in the most difficult of times. The material emphasizes the gentleness and adaptability of hope, which persists and grows despite all adversity.

LABYRINTH I

Abstract Series
No. 01 - Labyrinth 1 (2023)
Gauze on canvas, 100 x 100 cm
Private Collection

The path reveals itself in walking.

A Labyrinth is a place of searching - a path full of twists and turns where we lose ourselves and find ourselves again. Every step takes us further, even if we don't always recognize the direction.

As in life, we sometimes approach our goal slowly, sometimes we seem to be moving away from it. But every detour, every pause, every dead end is part of it.

It is crucial to keep going - to remain curious, not to lose courage and to be prepared to try new paths.

We never see the whole plan, only the section in front of us. And yet, sooner or later, every path leads to the core of the labyrinth - to ourselves.

THE LABYRINTH II

Abstract Series
No. 02 - Labyrinth 2 (2023)
Gauze on canvas, 100 x 80 cm

The journey is the destination

A LABYRINTH is a winding path that ultimately always leads to the goal. We can compare our path through life to a labyrinth.

Life is a constant progression and, like a labyrinth, you sometimes get closer to your goal and then further away from it again.

Sometimes we come to a dead end and can't get any further. Then it is important not to give up, but to have the courage to go back a bit and try out a new path.

We never know exactly how far we have come, as we can only see the path as far as the next bend.

But we can be sure that the path will definitely lead to the goal.

WHITE GARDEN

Veins of Nature Series
No. 01 - White Garden (2023)
Gauze on canvas, 100 x 100 cm

Sculpted texture as a tribute to growth and stillness.

The work White Garden was modeled by hand from fine gauze. The lengths of fabric were twisted into cords and assembled layer by layer on a textile support to create a floral relief. In a meditative working process, spiral lines, abstract leaf motifs and interwoven structures were created, reminiscent of the shapes of a garden - reduced, but full of life.

The subsequent monochrome painting in white elevates the form above the color. The effect of light and shadow created by the sculptural surface gives the work a special depth and calm. It thus invites the viewer to engage with the subtleties of the surface, the traces of manual work and the sensual quality of the texture.

This series is dedicated to my deep fascination with nature - its diversity, forms, structures and silent rhythms. In each work in this series, I try to capture the essence of natural processes, the quiet poetry of organic forms and the infinite creativity of the plant world in an abstract visual language.

Instead of imitating nature, I reinterpret it - with minimalist means and in a very personal, tactile language.

White Garden is not just a picture - it is a silent composition of movement, material and memories of nature that is both lively and contemplative.
