Exclusive collaboration - Selected projects

I work with international galleries, architects, designers and companies,
my works of art in upscale hotels, stylish company premises
and private residences worldwide.

Tailor-made art in resonance with architecture and design

My work is created at the interface of art, design and architecture. Inspired by the precision and elegance of haute couture, I develop textile wall objects that fit into rooms like tailor-made unique pieces. Each work of art lends the room a distinctive atmosphere and makes the vision and identity of your clients visible.

Textile wall object - Presidential Suite, Conrad Hotel Hamburg

For the presidential suite of the Conrad Hotel Hamburg, I was commissioned to develop a site-specific textile wall object that picks up on the architectural language of the suite and artistically specifies its exclusive atmosphere.

In collaboration with Minda Dowling Hotel Art Consultants London, an artistic intervention was created, precisely integrated into the architectural concept of the suite.

The composition, materiality and surface structure were specially developed for this location. The textile relief structure reacts sensitively to light and perspective and creates a calm yet striking spatial presence that plays a key role in shaping the character of the presidential suite.

The project was received with great appreciation by the hotel and the client:

„The artwork looks simply stunning on site. It hangs in the presidential suite - thank you very much!“ Minda Dowling

The photographs shown here were kindly made available to me by the Conrad Hotel Hamburg for my project presentation and my website.

Textile murals for private residence in Kuwait

In collaboration with an internationally renowned architecture firm from Milan - Studio MHZ Architecture & Interior Design - three large-format textile wall pieces were created for a private residence in Kuwait.

The works developed especially for this project combine contemporary textile art with architectural interior design and lend the spacious living areas a unique atmosphere.

At the request of the client, names and further details will remain confidential. A big thank you from the bottom of my heart, especially to Katrin Herden, for her exemplary cooperation.

The photo shows a sample image that reflects the atmosphere and aesthetics of the project.

Project in development
Textile murals

Kevin Barry Art Advisory, one of the leading art consultancies in Los Angeles, has requested two large-scale textile murals for their clients.

The works are not only intended to complement architectural spaces, but also to give them an unmistakable identity. The combination of materiality, texture and artistic expression creates a special atmosphere that makes the tension between art and interior design visible.

The project is currently in the development phase and is being continued in close coordination with the client.

In the interests of confidentiality, project details are not disclosed. The photo serves as an exemplary visualization of the artistic integration in the space.

Textile wall objects for hotel project in the USA

I was approached by Eaton Fine Art, an international art consultancy based in Austin, for a hotel project in the USA. The aim was to furnish a suite with original textile wall objects that combine materiality, structure and artistic expression.

In consultation with the gallery, various formats and compositions were developed to match the architectural concept and the spatial effect. The designs were intended to create a calm yet expressive atmosphere and emphasize the dialogue between art and interior design.

The project is currently in the development phase. A possible implementation will be reviewed again for future hotel projects of the company.

The photo serves as an exemplary visualization of the artistic integration in the space.

Art for a luxury hotel in Qatar

Two of my artworks were acquired for a luxury hotel in Qatar through ARTLINK London, one of the world's leading art consultants to the international hospitality industry.

The works are from my gallery - earlier works - and have been integrated into the exclusive hotel ambience, where they emphasize the combination of art, architecture and interior design in a special way.

Art plays a central role in today's hotel industry - it gives rooms identity, creates atmosphere and gives guests a feeling of exclusivity and individuality.

In this project, my works help to complement the clear architectural lines of the hotel and at the same time set emotional accents.

In the interests of confidentiality, project details are not disclosed. The photo serves as an exemplary visualization of the artistic integration in the space.

Occident meets Orient - Burj Al Arab, Dubai

In 2012, selected exclusive relief paintings were created by me as part of the project Oczident meets orient at the iconic Burj Al Arab in Dubai. This project created a special visual dialog between two worlds - the imposing, luxurious architecture of the hotel and my western-influenced, sculptural visual language.

The relief works not only blended into the extraordinary surroundings, but also entered into direct communication with the room. The golden columns, reflective surfaces and intense colors of the interiors enhanced the effect of the modeled structures, while the clear forms of my art formed a calm, modern counterpoint to the opulent interior design.

The result was a harmonious overall effect in which color, material and sculptural form complemented each other and created an impressive interplay between architecture and art.

The entire project was documented in a separate catalog and a photo series, which are now among my international project references.

Work presentation at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Dubai

During a stay at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on the Palm Jumeirah in 2022, I discovered a major presentation of my work on the top floor of the hotel. On display were several high-quality reproductions of my works - limited editions signed by me, originally created in 2012 for an art project at the Burj Al Arab.

Presented in well-lit glass showcases, the works spanned the entire gallery. The presentation took place without my prior knowledge and without my consent, but impressively illustrated how naturally my works appear and shape spaces even in unexpected international contexts.

Around six months later, the same hotel hosted an exclusive photo exhibition by renowned photographer Simon Procter - with his homage to Karl Lagerfeld The Chanel Shows.

The continued presence of my works in this house led to further international recognition of my work.

Private Villa in Miami - Acoustic Art Series

For a spacious, detached villa in Miami, Florida, three artworks from my series Acoustic Art commissioned by private collectors. The works form the artistic focal point of a modern living space in which architecture, design and art merge into a balanced overall harmony.

Made from an innovative composite material - LANISOR, these works combine aesthetics and function in a unique way.

The relief-like surface and the precise geometric composition not only create a visual statement, but also help to improve the room acoustics and give the room a better quality of life.

The clear forms and intense color surfaces are in exciting dialogue with the warm materials of the interior such as leather, wood and natural stone. Each work blends harmoniously into the overall architectural concept of the villa.

This commissioned work is an example of my international collaboration with architects, designers and private clients who see textile artworks as an integral part of exclusive spatial concepts.

Art meets function - Acoustic Art

In cooperation with the Acoustic Group, I developed a large-format wall object made of an innovative composite material that combines exceptional acoustic properties with a precisely crafted, haptically appealing surface.

The work is part of my early Acoustic Art series and shows how artistic design language and functional room acoustics can be combined to form a harmonious whole.

The result is an object that not only has a visual impact, but also noticeably improves the acoustic quality of a room - an interplay of material research, aesthetics and function.

art edition Light & Shadow

In cooperation with Teba GmbH & Co. KG, the largest manufacturer of sun shading systems in Germany, the exclusive art edition - Light & Shadow collection was created.

This collaboration combines art and functionality in a new way - large-format panel curtains become artistic objects in which light and shadow enter into a poetic liaison.

The motifs transform rooms into atmospheric settings - the incident light brings graphic silhouettes to life and gives the interior an unmistakable expressiveness.

The collection was presented with great success at the international textile trade fair in Frankfurt. In the same year, Teba received the homesolute Award for this edition - 1st place in the decoration category.

An award that recognizes the innovative approach and artistic appeal of this collaboration.

Carpet collection - Chess Kiss

In cooperation with CarpetVista / RugVista, one of the leading international manufacturers of exclusive carpets from Sweden, my design Chess Kiss was used as a template for a special carpet collection.

The graphic motif, which captures the play of contrasts and sensuality, was produced in various sizes and distributed worldwide.

In this way, I was able to translate my artistic language into an everyday, yet luxurious product that is both a functional design object and an artistic statement.

With Chess Kiss, art has been translated into a new form of interior design and established internationally in both private and public spaces.

Cooperation with ars mundi

Ars mundi - Europe's leading art dealer - has included two of my works in the ars mundi contemporary category.

There they are presented to an international audience of collectors and art lovers and offered for sale in an exclusive context.

This collaboration gives my work greater visibility within one of the most important European platforms for contemporary art.

Presentation of the portrait of Marie-José of Savoy to the Fondation Humbert II et Marie José de Savoie, Vaduz

During the international art fair Art Monaco 2014, one of my earlier works - a portrait of Marie-José of Savoy, the last Queen of Italy - was officially presented to the Fondation Humbert II et Marie José de Savoie in Vaduz.

The handover was made by the then President of Art Monaco, Johnessco Rodriguez, and was presented to Princess Marie-Gabrielle of Savoy.

The work was subsequently presented in the historic rooms of the foundation and has since become part of the art collection of the Fondation Humbert II et Marie José de Savoie.

This project is a special honor for me and connects my contemporary artistic work with an important European royal house and its cultural heritage.

The photos shown were kindly provided by the foundation.

Charity project WANDERBILD
Top chefs for Africa

In collaboration with BosFood GmbH, top chef Eckart Witzigmann and Karlheinz Böhm's Menschen für Menschen foundation, I portrayed top chefs from all over Europe who were involved in the Top Chefs for Africa project.

The portraits grew into a monumental frieze that moved from event to event as a WANDERBILD and generated donations for the construction of several schools in Ethiopia.

„The WANDERBILD by Alla GrAnde, a modern frieze with portraits of all the participants, is a spectacular work in progress. It grows and grows - in line with the number of chefs involved in the project. Wherever it is presented on its journey through Europe, it arouses interest and attention - and thus becomes the perfect ambassador for a wonderful campaign.“

In 2011, my book WANDERBILD - Spitzenköche für Afrika was published and won the Gourmand World Cookbook Award for Best Charity Cookbook & Art Catalogue in Paris.

In 2015, it also received the Best of the Best award.
