Drawings - Meditation on paper
For me, drawing is relaxation - a quiet moment in which thoughts come to rest.
Every line is created without a plan, just from feeling and movement.
In this way, the paper becomes a space for inner silence.
When the hand follows the thought
I usually create my drawings in the evening - when the day is quieter and my head is clear. I start without a fixed goal and just let the lines flow. For me, this process is a form of meditation - a way of making emotions and calmness visible at the same time. My finger series, which began in 2007 - inspired by shadows on the wall on a windy night in Marbella - plays a special role in this. It reflects lightness, irony and the little magic of everyday life - drawn with a wink and a lot of feeling. This extraordinary and unmistakable series continues to grow, because life itself keeps giving me new ideas.
