My ideas often emerge long before I realize them - sometimes as a vague image in my head, sometimes triggered by a moment in everyday life. A film, a reflection of light, a movement, a fabric, a pattern on the street - many things that others miss touch me and become an inner impulse. When I start working, many things happen spontaneously. Intuition and precision intertwine, forms develop from movement, layers from feeling. This results in compositions in which energy and tranquillity can be felt at the same time - visual memories of sensations that lie between reality and imagination.
