My work is created at the interface of art, design and architecture. Inspired by the precision and elegance of haute couture, I develop textile wall objects that fit into rooms like tailor-made unique pieces. Each work of art lends the room a distinctive atmosphere and makes the vision and identity of your clients visible.
Textile wall object for the presidential suite of the Conrad Hotel Hamburg
I was commissioned to create a textile wall object for the presidential suite of the newly opened Conrad Hotel in Hamburg.
The commission was carried out by Minda Dowling Hotel Art Consultants Limited from London, who specifically selected my work for this prestigious project.
In close coordination, a work was created that emphasizes the exclusive atmosphere of the suite and gives the room an unmistakable artistic identity.
The hotel team and the client were delighted with the result. „The artwork looks simply stunning on site! It hangs in the presidential suite! Thank you very much!“

Textile murals for private residence in Kuwait
In collaboration with an internationally renowned architecture firm from Milan - Studio MHZ Architecture & Interior Design - three large-format textile wall pieces were created for a private residence in Kuwait.
The works developed especially for this project combine contemporary textile art with architectural interior design and lend the spacious living areas a unique atmosphere.

Textile murals
Kevin Barry Art Advisory, one of the leading art consultancies in Los Angeles, has requested two large-scale textile murals for their clients.
The works are not only intended to complement architectural spaces, but also to give them an unmistakable identity. The combination of materiality, texture and artistic expression creates a special atmosphere that makes the tension between art and interior design visible.
The project is currently in the development phase and is being continued in close coordination with the client.

Textile wall objects for hotel project in the USA
I was approached by Eaton Fine Art, an international art consultancy based in Austin, for a hotel project in the USA. The aim was to furnish a suite with original textile wall objects that combine materiality, structure and artistic expression.
In consultation with the gallery, various formats and compositions were developed to match the architectural concept and the spatial effect. The designs were intended to create a calm yet expressive atmosphere and emphasize the dialogue between art and interior design.
The project is currently in the development phase. A possible implementation will be reviewed again for future hotel projects of the company.

Art for a luxury hotel in Qatar
Two of my artworks were acquired for a luxury hotel in Qatar through ARTLINK London, one of the world's leading art consultants to the international hospitality industry.
Die Arbeiten stammen aus meiner Galerie – frühere Werke – und wurden in das exklusive Hotelambiente integriert, wo sie die Verbindung von Kunst, Architektur und Interior-Design auf besondere Weise betonen.
Art plays a central role in today's hotel industry - it gives rooms identity, creates atmosphere and gives guests a feeling of exclusivity and individuality.
In this project, my works help to complement the clear architectural lines of the hotel and at the same time set emotional accents.

Okzident trifft Orient – Burj Al Arab, Dubai
Im Jahr 2012 wurden ausgewählte exklusive Reliefbilder von mir im Rahmen des Projekts Okzident trifft Orient im ikonischen Burj Al Arab in Dubai präsentiert. Dieses Projekt stellte einen besonderen visuellen Dialog zwischen zwei Welten her – der imposanten, luxuriösen Architektur des Hotels und meiner westlich geprägten, plastischen Bildsprache.
Die Reliefwerke fügten sich nicht nur in die außergewöhnliche Umgebung ein, sondern traten in eine unmittelbare Kommunikation mit dem Raum. Die goldenen Säulen, spiegelnden Oberflächen und intensiven Farben der Interieurs verstärkten die Wirkung der modellierten Strukturen, während die klaren Formen meiner Kunst einen ruhigen, modernen Gegenpol zur opulenten Raumgestaltung bildeten.
Dadurch entstand eine harmonische Gesamtwirkung, in der Farbe, Material und plastische Form einander ergänzten und ein beeindruckendes Zusammenspiel zwischen Architektur und Kunst erzeugten.
Das gesamte Projekt wurde durch einen eigenen Katalog und eine Fotoserie dokumentiert, die heute zu meinen internationalen Projektreferenzen zählen.
Werkpräsentation im Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Dubai
Während eines Aufenthalts im Jumeirah Zabeel Saray auf der Palm Jumeirah entdeckte ich 2022 in der obersten Etage des Hotels eine größere Präsentation meiner Arbeiten. Gezeigt wurden mehrere hochwertige Reproduktionen meiner Werke – limitierte, von mir signierte Editionen, die ursprünglich 2012 für ein Kunstprojekt im Burj Al Arab entstanden sind.
In gut beleuchteten Glasvitrinen präsentiert, erstreckten sich die Werke über die gesamte Galerie. Die Präsentation erfolgte ohne meine vorherige Kenntnis und ohne meine Zustimmung, verdeutlichte jedoch eindrucksvoll, wie selbstverständlich meine Arbeiten selbst in unerwarteten internationalen Kontexten wirken und Räume prägen.
Rund ein halbes Jahr später fand im selben Hotel eine exklusive Fotoausstellung des renommierten Fotografen Simon Procter statt – mit seiner Hommage an Karl Lagerfeld The Chanel Shows.
Die anhaltende Präsenz meiner Werke in diesem Haus führte zu einer weiteren internationalen Bekanntheit meiner Arbeiten.
Private Villa in Miami - Acoustic Art Series
For a spacious, detached villa in Miami, Florida, three artworks from my series Acoustic Art commissioned by private collectors. The works form the artistic focal point of a modern living space in which architecture, design and art merge into a balanced overall harmony.

The relief-like surface and the precise geometric composition not only create a visual statement, but also help to improve the room acoustics and give the room a better quality of life.
The clear forms and intense color surfaces are in exciting dialogue with the warm materials of the interior such as leather, wood and natural stone. Each work blends harmoniously into the overall architectural concept of the villa.
This commissioned work is an example of my international collaboration with architects, designers and private clients who see textile artworks as an integral part of exclusive spatial concepts.
Art meets function - Acoustic Art
In Kooperation mit der Acoustic Group entwickelte ich ein großformatiges Wandobjekt aus einem innovativen Verbundmaterial, das außergewöhnliche akustische Eigenschaften mit einer präzise ausgearbeiteten, haptisch reizvollen Oberfläche verbindet.
Das Werk gehört zu meiner frühen Serie Acoustic Art und zeigt, wie sich künstlerische Formensprache und funktionale Raumakustik zu einem stimmigen Ganzen vereinen können.
So entsteht ein Objekt, das nicht nur visuell wirkt, sondern die akustische Qualität eines Raumes spürbar verbessert – ein Zusammenspiel von Materialforschung, Ästhetik und Funktion.
art edition Light & Shadow
In cooperation with Teba GmbH & Co. KG, the largest manufacturer of sun shading systems in Germany, the exclusive art edition - Light & Shadow collection was created.
This collaboration combines art and functionality in a new way - large-format panel curtains become artistic objects in which light and shadow enter into a poetic liaison.
The motifs transform rooms into atmospheric settings - the incident light brings graphic silhouettes to life and gives the interior an unmistakable expressiveness.
The collection was presented with great success at the international textile trade fair in Frankfurt. In the same year, Teba received the homesolute Award for this edition - 1st place in the decoration category.
An award that recognizes the innovative approach and artistic appeal of this collaboration.
Carpet collection - Chess Kiss
In cooperation with CarpetVista / RugVista, one of the leading international manufacturers of exclusive carpets from Sweden, my design Chess Kiss was used as a template for a special carpet collection.
The graphic motif, which captures the play of contrasts and sensuality, was produced in various sizes and distributed worldwide.
In this way, I was able to translate my artistic language into an everyday, yet luxurious product that is both a functional design object and an artistic statement.
With Chess Kiss, art has been translated into a new form of interior design and established internationally in both private and public spaces.
Cooperation with ars mundi
Ars mundi - Europe's leading art dealer - has included two of my works in the ars mundi contemporary category.
There they are presented to an international audience of collectors and art lovers and offered for sale in an exclusive context.
This collaboration gives my work greater visibility within one of the most important European platforms for contemporary art.
Übergabe des Portraits von Marie-José von Savoyen an die Fondation Humbert II et Marie José de Savoie, Vaduz
Im Rahmen der internationalen Kunstmesse Art Monaco 2014 wurde eines meiner früheren Werke – ein Portrait von Marie-José von Savoyen, der letzten Königin von Italien – offiziell an die Fondation Humbert II et Marie José de Savoie in Vaduz übergeben.
Die Übergabe fand durch den damaligen Präsidenten von Art Monaco, Johnessco Rodriguez, statt und wurde der Prinzessin Marie-Gabrielle von Savoyen überreicht.
Das Werk wurde anschließend in den historischen Räumen der Stiftung präsentiert und ist seither Teil der Kunstsammlung der Fondation Humbert II et Marie José de Savoie.
Dieses Projekt stellt für mich eine besondere Auszeichnung dar und verbindet meine zeitgenössische künstlerische Arbeit mit einem bedeutenden europäischen Königshaus und seinem kulturellen Erbe.

Charity project WANDERBILD
Top chefs for Africa
In collaboration with BosFood GmbH, top chef Eckart Witzigmann and Karlheinz Böhm's Menschen für Menschen foundation, I portrayed top chefs from all over Europe who were involved in the Top Chefs for Africa project.
The portraits grew into a monumental frieze that moved from event to event as a WANDERBILD and generated donations for the construction of several schools in Ethiopia.
„The WANDERBILD by Alla GrAnde, a modern frieze with portraits of all the participants, is a spectacular work in progress. It grows and grows - in line with the number of chefs involved in the project. Wherever it is presented on its journey through Europe, it arouses interest and attention - and thus becomes the perfect ambassador for a wonderful campaign.“
In 2011, my book WANDERBILD - Spitzenköche für Afrika was published and won the Gourmand World Cookbook Award for Best Charity Cookbook & Art Catalogue in Paris.
In 2015, it also received the Best of the Best award.
