Conceptual wall reliefs
At the intersection of art, architecture, and perception
Art in dialog with space and consciousness
ALLA GRANDE's sculptural wall reliefs unite conceptual thinking, architecture, and psychological perception. Through the interplay of material, light, and space, works are created that open up emotional and spatial fields of experience beyond their physical form. Their works explore memory, transformation, and the complex processes of human perception. Organic structures, tensions, and condensations transform into reliefs of high spatial presence, oscillating between architectural order and intuitive materiality.
ALLA GRANDE
ALLA GRANDE is a visual artist with five years of higher education in Architecture, Fine Arts, and Design, followed by professional experience in the architectural field.
At the center of her artistic practice are sculptural wall reliefs that connect art, architecture, and psychological perception. Using gauze, cotton, and other natural textiles, she develops relief-like structures with a strong spatial presence that continuously change through the interplay of light, shadow, and material.
Shaped by their understanding of space, proportion, and materiality, works emerge that dissolve the boundaries between image, relief, and architecture. Each work is unique and explores themes such as memory, transformation, interconnectedness, and the complex processes of human perception.
The works of ALLA GRANDE have been acquired internationally for private collections as well as hospitality, corporate, and architectural projects, including projects in Germany, Kuwait, Qatar, and the USA.

My artistic approach
Shaped by my five-year university degree in architecture and fine arts, my practice merges architectural structure with a radical, material-based conceptual art. In my expansive wall sculptures, the fine tactility of gauze, cotton, and nettle merge into a monumental relief. Through the deliberate layering, folding, and stretching of organic fibers, I translate complex psychological architectures and human metamorphoses directly into three-dimensional space. This creates a physical manifestation of profound emotional states, dissolving the boundaries of traditional genres.
My philosophy
I understand textile fabric as an autonomous, sculptural medium. Each work arises from the tension between the emotional power of the raw material and the geometric rigor of the construction. My philosophy consistently focuses on the substance and depth of the plastic form, far removed from flat surface aesthetics or functionality. The wall reliefs invite viewers to explore the intellectual depth behind the material layering and to experience the inseparable connection between mind and space.
Materiality & Presence
The conceptual power of my works is based on the conscious reduction and purity of the means used. The specific properties of nettle, cotton, and semi-transparent gauze form the basis for an intense, physical spatial effect. Each fold and compression stores time, pressure, and energy. This creates museum-quality unique pieces of lasting relevance and monumental presence, which enter into an uncompromising dialogue with the surrounding architecture and the incident light.
My gallery
As in haute couture, each piece in my work is designed individually.
Natural tones meet dynamic, vibrant colors and reflect the tension between tradition and innovation.
